Established in 1975, as the Mangalore Small Industries Association, with the purpose of empowering local industries and which later went on to become the District Small Industries Association Mangalore (DSIAM).

It now stands as a beacon, tirelessly advocating for the prosperity and growth of small industries in the vibrant district of Dakshina Kannada. Since its inception, DSIAM has been a force of positive change, facilitating economic growth, entrepreneurship and community engagement.

Today, with a profound sense of pride and appreciation I reflect on the rich legacy of our association, spanning almost fifty years. Over the decades, DSIAM has been a shining example of the enduring entrepreneurial spirit that defines our community. Despite the various challenges we encounter, both internal and external, our collective dedication to growth and advancement remains steadfast.
